If I remember rightly, you should have a Tag Search panel as well as a Tag Panel. Correct. The Tag Search panel is the one I'm referring to. If I understand correctly, the right-most icon on the Tag Search panel is meant to allow the user to retrieve a set of previously stored tags. I'm getting a similar error using MT 10.0 Pro on a Windows10 machine.
If the Sample Panel [F7] is in Open Type mode, it flags an error on some (not all) fonts.
Reverting to Memo mode clears the error.

I did reboot, and then unloaded some fonts and then installed through MT.
Inkscape seems to be working as expected, now.

I'm having a problem with Inkscape as well. Ever since I started using MT, I cannot use any font except the ones that came pre-installed on my computer (Windows 10). I had not been using the default theme. I switched to the default just now, and rebooted. What is happening now is better, but still not what is expected. I ran the program linked in the previous message. Now when I minimize MT, the icon doesn't appear in the task bar at all (previously, the icon appeared but clicking it did nothing). Even worse, using the Windows Task Manager to "End Task" on MT no longer helps. Now I have to reboot the mac...

Error: Lost Connection to Font Service
Having trouble. When I minimize MT to the TaskBar (Windows10, virus-protected) it will not re-open. To get it to work again, I have to start the Windows Task Manager and "End Task" on MT. I am using the Pro edition. While trying to figure this out, MT sometimes displayed an "Oops"...

What are the mechanics behind "loading" and "unloading" a font--is it a Registry Setting that MainType accesses? or something else?
