Hi there--
I just downloaded a new type face today, and found out it doesn't have an apostrophe, which I can easily make using parts and pieces. It would be so handy to just be able to click something to re-open the font in FontCreator... would that be difficult to add?
Thanks,
Heather

Unremovable fonts?
Hi there--
I noticed these weird "fonts" installed today. Is this a virus? I don't appear to be able to use MainType to delete them. Thanks!
Their names are Z@R15E.tmp, Z@R22B.tmp, Z@R2F8.tmp, Z@R8E.tmp, Z@RA0.tmp

MainType Professional Edition 11.0.0.1268 - Bad Hang
Hi! I got a pop-up notification with sound that said something like "It looks like you like Main Type why don't you tell your friends or something." I like Main Type a lot but I don't want the app telling me to tell my friends. ;) And then it tried to open some other window (a browser, per...

I didn't get the message after the next two updates, so it was all good. Thanks!

Re: GD library of PHP?
Well, I got v. 12 today, and ran Inkster through the new version. I did notice that there was an option to include (?) a "legacy kern table", so I did that. Maybe that will fix the issue? Again, I'm just a designer, not a programmer...

Re: GD library of PHP?
Good point! I'm working with 9.1. I know you're up to 12 now-- do you know if my issue would be resolved by the newest version? Thanks!

GD library of PHP?
Hi there! I made a font recently and submitted it to dafont.com, but got this as an answer: The kerning is set in a way that doesn't work at dafont (we use the GD library of PHP) To make the font kerning, I used the resident (supplied) kerning pairs that came with the program, and I kind of discover...

Crash: Vers. 7.0 Build 1012: View Panel
Just added 70+ fonts to my font folder. Started MainType so I could categorize them. I have 26911 resources. (Minor Bug: When refreshing the resources, the process runs through once, then runs through a second time, all by itself. It displays 2 pop-up one after the other.) My normal work flow is to ...

Re: I lost all of my groups
Pheeeeeew! Everything seems back in order. It ate my panel display sizes, but that is easily fixable. Erwin, I just mailed you back--sorry for the delay--but it seems like an on-screen consultation isn't needed now, so no need to respond! Thanks again for the bugfix. =)

I lost all of my groups
Ok, I just installed the MainType 7.0... and it ate all my groups. For 25,110 fonts. I was on the MT6 Beta group, and whenever it installed, it kept all the old info, so I didn't even think to back it up before installation this time. The fonts are all indicating groups, but only one random fo...

Reinstalled (on C:/ alas), but all is well. Guess I'll just try deleting the files on G.

Fixed - Changed drive; fontcreator can't find itself
Hi all-- I'd installed the 7.0 FontCreator on my external hard drive, which was F:/ -- perhaps not the smartest thing to do, but I need space. However, I upgraded to a larger drive, which is now G:/ and even though everything is copied over from FontCreator 7.0, it gives me this message when I try t...
