Re: How to match font metrics between PC and Mac
I think there are 3 shaping engines that are used in the last years, a default one, a composer, and Harfbuzz. Not sure if all use the same metrics.

Re: How to match font metrics between PC and Mac
I am glad you continue to support our software and I am pleased you seem to have found a solution!
Not really, but I am sure there are situations where it no longer matches. Probably when used in Adobe software...

Re: How to match font metrics between PC and Mac
I am afraid it will only work if you use the calculate button, but then most likely all values are updated. There are numerous other attempts to streamline metrics; for example: https://github.com/googlefonts/gf-docs/blob/main/VerticalMetrics/README.md https://typedrawers.com/discussion/4554/on-vert...

The next update will also move the anchors, but even then glyph outlines with components need attention.

Re: How to match font metrics between PC and Mac
FontCreator 15 has a button that calculates the values. It is mostly based on the suggestions from the tutorial.
Do give it a try and let me know if that works.

Re: 'Round', and 'Round Corners'
Yes, the variable font technology is really amazing. Even if you don't intend to release a variable font, it still allows you to speed up development of a whole font family with different styles. Concerning the round corners feature, do let us know your exact needs, so we better understand if we can...

Re: Font Scaling
You can try to use a Transform script with both a Scale and a Thin feature.
For example:
Scale 130, 103
Thin 30, 10
For example:

Re: The scroll bar on the Font Categories Panel disappeared
We can't find the cause of this, as we are not able to reproduce the issue.
If more people have this issue, then maybe someone is able to provide clear steps for us to reproduce the problem.
For now, does it help if you collapse and expand one or more categories?
