Although not strictly defined, there are limits to what a font rasterizer can handle, so I guess you need to reduce the complexity.

Some more information could help.

You could try a full uninstall, and the reinstall it. You might want to make a backup through FmsConfig before uninstalling. Let us know your results.

Maybe the font service is blocked by your anti virus software.

The fonts should become available to all your applications, just make sure you've installed them.

The Font Test dialog uses the Uniscribe text shaping engine without additional magic done by Word. To test your font in other application, you can use the approach as suggested by Bhikkhu Pesala. It is not a work-around, but an actual feature

I'm sorry, but from our point of view it would be unwise to invest in eot and svg as we believe they will soon become obsolete.

You can scale the glyph outlines through the transform wizard, but it won't change your kerning values.

It looks like you've also installed MainType 6, and then installed version 5 on top of it. You will either have to fully uninstall/remove version 6, or buy an upgrade to use version 6. Easiest is to buy the upgrade, as I suspect trying to uninstall version 6 and then reinstalling version 5 requires ...

I'm sorry but I don't think it is possible. MainType always respects the actual active fonts, so after a clean install of Windows you will no longer be able to restore your previous installed font list, unless as you already mentioned you tagged your fonts prior to your FmsConfig backup.

The odd font only has about 100 mapped glyphs, so the Unicode codepoints are missing from the other 7449. If the mappings are correct it should all work as expected. If it still fails, you can manually adjust the character ranges on the Ranges tab as available on the Font Properties dialog.
