We do however have the intention to add other ways to add fonts to groups (context menu, keyboard shortcuts) That would be enough for me. BTW: I'm missing some of the toolbar icons that existed in MainType 3 (e. g. for HTML export, deleting, etc.). but I don't know if/when these will be implemented...

Bugs cannot be fixed if they cannot be reproduced I'm a web developer, so I know that all too well. :wink: I didn't refer to this special bug; I was just a little bit frustrated at that moment... It is possible to search by Font Name, Family, or Foundry — checkout the drop down by the search field....

Isn't there any way to browse? MainType 4 is database driven, so there's no way to do that. I'm missing some of the old functionality, too, but the new version is quicker, which might help managing a huge font collection like yours. For me, it would be a huge undertaking to recreate everything with...

Sometimes the Quick Search stops working. In my active fonts, I searched for "arial" and tried everything to make it work, but without success. Only when I closed MainType 4 and reopened it, it worked. I hope the bugs and crudities will be taken care of quickly... I haven't had much fun us...

The same sometimes happens when trying to delete something from the Quick Search field.

Maybe I'm just too dumb, but how do I add fonts to font groups in MainType 4? The toolbar button that exists in MainType 3 has gone, and there's no entry in the font context menu anymore. There are no tooltips shown for the buttons in the view pane of MainType 4.

When importing fonts, a list is shown that tells me how many duplicate and invalid resources have been encountered. What can I do with this information? MainType 4 doesn't let me search for duplicates or invalid fonts... I have several thousand fonts, should I check them one by one?
