Re: Can you share fonts here?
That depends on the license agreement in the fonts. If you make your own fonts with FontCreator, there is a Gallery where you can share fonts with others. You cannot share or ask for illegal copies of commercial fonts. I have blocked your other post requesting a copy of a commercial font. Font Desig...

Re: Anti-Aliasing
Vector Truetype fonts that you can make in FontCreator don't become pixelated at larger sizes. Attach your font here, and tell us which application you're using that is causing a problem. Attach a screen shot to show what you mean. You can upload attachments (ZIP TTF PNG JPG etc.) from the tab below...

Re: Anti-Aliasing
Please ee the Frequently Asked Questions Q: My font only looks good at large sizes, what can I do to improve the quality at small sizes? A: The quality has a lot to do with hinting. The hints are what make it look good at low resolutions. FontCreator does not fully support hinting. Screen fonts are ...

Re: Position to guideline
A saved guideline file would be very desirable and very easy to implement. Guidelines are saved in %ApplData%\FontCreator\guidelines.dat You could copy that to a backup file for each font that you're working on. Just copy the file on exiting from FontCreator, and rename it to MyFont1.dat etc., so t...

Re: Copy-pasting glyphs also retains hinting?
To see if hinting is removed from glyphs or not, observe what happens to the little H at the intersection of the rulers after any action is performed. If its still there, then hinting was not removed.

Re: Copy-pasting glyphs also retains hinting?
If you copy/paste a glyph within the same font to a new glyph in the glyph overview, the hinting will be retained. However, as soon as you modify it in any way apart from adjust the right side-bearing, the hinting will be lost — check the little H at the intersection of the rulers. If you use compos...

Re: Moving
Select the composite glyph members in the glyph overview, and transform them.
Here, I have selected o, and u, and moved them both by 500 funits to the right.

Re: Moving
Only if you want to move all of the accents up or down. The positions of lowercase accents are based on font metrics for x-height, so you can manually set x-height to a new value, then recompose the composite glyphs.
What, exactly, are you trying to achieve? It would probably help to see the font.

Re: Please Help me to Identify this Font
Yes. Definitely looks like Times New Roman, but oblique, not italic. That is, someone used the italic attribute but the italic font style was not installed, so Windows made a faux italic by slanting the text by a few degrees, just as I did below using PagePlus to slant the text.

Re: Cursive Fonts: Need help badly!!!!
Word does support kerning, but you have to enable it. Changing Kerning in Word and select the point size above which it will be used. When you add kerning pairs to a font in FontCreator, the kerning values are "embedded" in the font, but they won't be used unless the application supports k...

Re: Cursive Fonts: Need help badly!!!!
If you have searched the forums thoroughly and read all of the previous threads on this, or even just this one , and the linked Tutorial thread I don't think there is much more that we can add. If applications don't support kerning, then the font must be made to work without it by adjusting the side...
