Re: CTRL-Select multiple Second Kern Pair Groups in OpenType Designer
That only works if the fonts are in some way similar.
Which I haven't bothered to do!

CTRL-Select multiple Second Kern Pair Groups in OpenType Designer
Hi there I'm kerning again today and it's miserable. I am in OpenType Designer > Kerning > PairAdjustment > Add... > New Kerning Pair, and I can't CTRL-Select multiple Second: groups. So I am clicking Add... > Only Show Groups, scroll down, First, scroll down, Second, Okay. Several hundred times. Th...

Re: 15, 30, or 45 degree increments added to SHIFT+Rotate
While I agree with you in technical terms, why did other vector-handling softwares make it standard so long ago?

Option to set 'Only Show Groups" as default in Add: New Kerning Pair
Hi there It seems like I am spending my whole day clicking the "Only Show Groups" button in the OpenType Designer > PaitAdjustment > Add... > New Kerning Pair window. I need an option to set "Only Show Groups" as the default, since I never use anything BUT groups, and I have to r...

15, 30, or 45 degree increments added to SHIFT+Rotate
Hi there Here's a feature from Photoshop that is absent from the Glyph window Contour Mode click transform rotate feature, the one that you activate by clicking on a shape twice, and then grabbing a corner: 15, 30, or 45 degree increments when holding the SHIFT key. Right now you can rotate to any a...

45 degree angles added to Knife tool+SHIFT
Hi
I would like to see the four 45 degree angle variations added to the four orthogonal angles you get when you hold SHIFT and use the knife tool.
This would be perfect for cutting circles into G, C, and S, c, and e characters, for example.
Thanks!

Re: Lock one glyph when using Align toolbar
The only way I've figured out how to do that is if I use Make Simple to enable the Transform panel.
Is there another workflow that doesn't break the Composites link?

Lock one glyph when using Align toolbar
Hi everyone I'm trying to align my accents to the center of my lowercase characters, but the lowercase characters keep moving away from the 0 point. This is problematic on a letter like 'i' because the the accent is wider than the character: running a bearing script on all the characters won't put t...

Setting License Agreement field for multiple EULAs
Hi everyone. My new fonts have different license agreements for Mobile, ePub, Standard User (Multi User), Server, and Webfont usages, but I'm not sure how to fill out the License Agreement field in the Font Properties. What do you do? Do you set the License Agreement field to "Commercial Licens...

Re: Sourcing Composites
Hi everyone.
I've processed the Composites XML file and done my best to pull out the source glyphs for each composite glyph.
There are too many glyphs for me to check, so I can't guarantee that all the source glyphs in the list are correct, but it's a start.
Hope this helps speed up your workflow.

Re: Sourcing Composites
Okay, duly noted. Right now I'm working on a font in my modular font-building program in one window, and I have Excel open in another window showing the Name + Unicode for all the composites that FontCreator will build for me. I see that Plus Sign, Minus Sign, Dot Accent, Ogonek, but no Small Tilde ...

Re: Sourcing Composites
Anyone who doesn't know what a composite glyph is might well be confused why Complete Composites shows only the base glyph, or only the accent, or nothing at all, but anyone who does know what a composite glyph should soon fathom it out. If not, that's what the support forum is for. The manuals can...
