We don't know where they are stored, but you can use MainType to export fonts to your file system. Then you can add the folder to MainType, so you can manage these fonts through MainType.

Do send us a sample font project with this glyph outline, so we can look into this!

Compact Font Format (CFF) version 2 (CFF2) is the format that stores a variable font with cubic bezier curves.

You could tags all your fonts, provide multiple tags to each font (Serif, Slab, Rounded, Handwriting or whatever suits the font). We have received a font project, but it works just fine on our test system. It would help if you provide clear instructions. Also a screenshot of your Options dialog which shows your Font tab would help, as some settings are related to exporting fonts.

Maybe you misunderstood the meaning of this property. The setting does not prevent one from installing the font, but it prevents installation of the font if it is embedded in a (Word) document. Does it allow you to embed the font in a document and then when you open the document on another computer ...

FontCreator currently does not support CFF2. It is not widely adopted yet, but it is on the to-do list.

We have fixed some bugs, so maybe this update solves the problem.
