BTW, once the Black style is added to a paragraph or character style, pressing the Italic button will then make the font Black Italic.

Re: Baron font only in italic, not regular
Here is a fixed version (in more ways than one). At least it works in Word 2010 here.
For the Black style, you need to create or modify a style to access it. Word is dumb that way.

Re: Export selected glyph names
I appreciate the whole of FC, Erwin. Else I wouldn't continue to buy upgrade licenses for new versions!
I just thought it appropriate to single out this new feature in the original request thread.

Re: Export selected glyph names
Erwin, I just wanted to thank you for this implemented feature. Over the weekend I added 300+ glyphs to various OT features in a font and being able to just copy and paste those glyphs into my spreadsheet take minutes, finish what the names needed to line up with, then to copy that into my text edit...

Re: Can anyone please help me identify this font??
Such a small sample is difficult to use, and therefore hard to determine. But a heavy, condensed sans serif would be difficult in any case.
One example of a match would be Helvetica Inserat.

Re: OTF files associated with FC
No worries. It did catch me off guard and I initially thought I had moved some font projects unwittingly into the font folder for my font manager. I have accidentally done that before...

Re: Looking for InDesign plugin
The idea of the plug-ins is that as long as the missing font(s) are available to the font manager with a plug-in, they are installed automatically with no user intervention required. That said, while I have used plug-ins with ID using another font manager or two, I don't use them. In a hustle and bu...

Re: OTF files associated with FC
Hello Erwin, No, since time began, TTF and OTF files have been associated with the Windows font viewer application here. When I did the update, OTF files were assigned to be associated with FC as shown in the screen shot. I did nothing to make that choice. TTF files behaved in a standard Windows man...

Re: OTF files associated with FC
I just installed the newest FC update. It associated them upon installation.
I did reassociate them via Windows. FC in no way should have done so.

OTF files associated with FC
I do not desire for OTF fonts to be associated with FC. I could not see a preference to turn this off. When I go to add fonts to my font manager, I do not desire they appear like projects. Re: Setting FontCreator as the Default for TTF
May I ask, why is this necessary/needed/wanted? Certainly should be tested on a range of OS versions as to whether it interferes with the OS' normal operation for installing (all manner of installing), managing and even previewing fonts. Even if there are no issues, I still cannot see why to invest ...
