Navigation arrows to apply to Properties Window

Post by Mike Thompson »

When in the Glyph Edit window I frequently use the Prev glyph and Next Glyph buttons. I would like these buttons to apply also to the Properties Dialog.

Often I open two Font Creator applications and work on two fonts in parrallel comparing them and making modifications.

Now take this one step futher: Combine the Gyph Edit window and the Properties Dialog. Make a tabbed dialog containing the following tabs: Gylph Edit, the Composite Gyph Properties, postscript properties, Mappings.
Have the Next and Previous buttons apply to all this.

This would suit the kind of work I'm doing. I could open FCP four times and work on my Regular, Italic, Bold and Bold Italic in parallel.

This is at least partially implemented in FontCreator 7 with the Glyph Properties toolbar, which updates as you scroll to the next or previous glyph in the glyph edit window.
