Add Adjustment for Line-spacing to Metrics Tab

A spin-wheel and/or slider on the Font Properties Metrics dialog could perhaps be linked to Line Gap and Typo Line Gap. Set the default line-spacing in % or font size. Here is a mock-up:

can you give the sample update version of it? without change upem, so the line height can change

Even though the request is still valid, you need to be aware that the screenshot is from an older version of FontCreator.

Some people use Excel to calculate the font metrics, and some just accept the values calculated by FontCreator, while others adjust them during the design of a font.

Here is an updated mock-up for FontCreator 15.
Users could use the spin buttons or the slider to adjust the line-spacing.
Suggested range would be 90% to 300%

I am not sure if people benefit from it, so I hope other people jump in and let us know their opinion.

It is best to make the decision very early in the design process, as then you can stick with a specific upem in combination with specific values for ascender, descender, and line gap.
