Quick Search replaces font pane

Post by rheabarron »

I just posted a question about how the Quick Search panel covers up the font list. Then I figured it out: Click any view in the View panel.

Posting this note the the moderator is a little weird, but I didn't know how else to reach you. You can just delete my previous post and this one too.

Thanks!

I left your question, because it may help others.

It also highlights a defect in the Quick Search facility. If you refine your search, then a different list of fonts will show up. However, if you delete the entire search string, no fonts at all will be listed.

In my opinion, if the quick search field is empty then all fonts should be shown — or perhaps the Escape key should reset the search filter to NUL.

Thank you both for providing this useful information. We will most likely further improve the search feature later this year.
