Fonts are printed only outlined

Hello all, I've got a problem with a laser marking (engraving) printer. If I load it's software with standard fonts like Ms Sans Serif they're printed outlined, not filled... The software is delivered with some fonts, but not the ones I want, and the fonts are imported and converted in the software so I have no chance to edit them... Any idea how I can solve this?

I think that's the way engraving works. I think you need to contact the printer manufacturer if you want more information about filling contours.
