I've recently spent a few nights adding nearly 16000 kerning pairs to my geometrized font, just to realise, that it seem to be ignored in Photoshop CS 3, Open Office 2.4... Everywhere!
Can that be caused by the amount of kerning pairs? Or shall I enable kerning somewhere in these programs?

Nearly all programs need kerning to be enabled. OpenOffice Writer certainly does. Format, Character, Position, Pair Kerning.
