I have an arabic open type font which was working fine in windows 7/ office . However as soon as I installed windows 10 /office 13, some of the ligatures are not working in microsoft office word. Interestingly enough the font works fine when same word file is converted to pdf format. similarly it works fine in other office products like Excel, publisher etc. If needed I can provide the font . I shall be grateful If any expert can suggest a solution to this problem.

I don't know, but I think in Office 2013 you might have to enable open type features in the options, it is off by default.

Thanks for the reply. I had tried that without any luck. it is only word which is giving problem. other office products like excel and publisher work fine.

Sorry, I don't know. My version of Office is 2007 but I do have access to an Office 2013 installation, I will have a look when I'm next on there (if I remember).
