Name doesn't appear

Hi,

I have made a number of fonts using the standard qwerty. Even though I have been through the naming process they do not appear in the font name of Office. I get the sample of numbers and letters but not the name. What am I doing wrong?

Two things come to mind:

Are the fonts you've made Unicode or Symbol fonts?

Did you include outlines for all the characters that represent the font name? E.g. if you've named your font "yourfont" and you only added outlines to the capital letters, then it is obvious you won't see a preview of your font.

I can get the fonts in my application and I get the samples, but I don't get the name of the font coming up in the index of fonts - it is either a blank or a few or many of the characters are displayed.

For example it I had made the font Arial the name Arial wouldn't come up in the index of fonts.

I've used the wizard to name the font and everything seems to be fine - the name comes up in 'Font' in windows
