Naming in FontCreator 8

In older versions of FontCreator, you could fill out the Naming on a per language basis. For the program I intend to use my font in, I require to have Japanese naming present, or the program will (for who knows what reason) not load the font. This worked in older versions of Font Creator, but as best I can tell FontCreator 8 will discard this information if it exists and does not allow you to specify it per language. Am I missing something, or is this truly a regression between versions?
