OpenType Feature Support in Microsoft Word 2010

Post by milson »

I am developing a cursive font. It works fine in open type designer but when I export and install it all the open type features (ligatures, context substitutions etc) seem to be disabled. What is the problem?

Which application are you using to test it? Do other OpenType fonts work as expected?

I am using MSOffice Word 2010. All other fonts work fine. I can send the file if it will help so you can look at what I did.

I have a more recent version of Word (Dutch language), but since 2010 Word has support for several OpenType features:

Just enable "Use Contextual Alternates".
