Help me identify this font.

Post by abakiz »

Help me identify this font, I've been stuck for hours. The closet match I've found so far is Times New Roman but the C is slightly off.

The top of the t is wrong too for Times New Roman.

Is that the highest resolution image that you can find?

Linux Libertine G is closer, but not quite the same I think.

I think I've found a match for it: "Adobe Hebrew". Can you confirm?

Well another close one! Abode Hebrew:

The T has shoulders - not like the sample. The /a has a bulby end which doesn't show in the sample and appears falling over a bit - the sample appears upright. Hard to tell if the /c is correct. The position of the tittle in the /i is higher than the /t which is right. The /s looks about right. All the letters are taller than the sample (fixable).

I believe Bhikkhu Pesala was right to ask for a better example.
