Web Open Font Format Support (WOFF)

Post by Dick Pape »

Is WOFF a future feature? Sounds like it could be a separate process, like zip, to prepare fonts for Web browser use.

Web Fonts haven't really taken off yet, but I think they will soon become as widely used as Flash.

Anything that makes it easier to create web pages with my custom fonts will be very welcome. If FontCreator can save my fonts ready for the web, reducing the character set to just what is needed, compressing the file at the same time, that will be great.

Support for the import and export of WOFF fonts was added to FontCreator 7.

Here is a Test Page that I made using WebPlus X5, with fonts exported from FontCreator 7.
