Since version 6 some oddity

I've noticed that since I've upgraded to version 6 that some of the text in dialog boxes is too big to fit so it gets sort of cut off. I've seen it in options boxes and in the new font dialog. I'll try updating to a new version and see if it changes.

Seems my system font is smaller than yours. I have no idea which it is, unfortunately. I know very little about using fonts... I could make yours smaller of course if you'd like. Dick

I can confirm that there is a problem if the "Large Fonts" setting is used in Desktop, Properties, Appearance. The dialogue should allow for this. Some other dialogues suffer from the same problem too, e.g. Options, General. The problem is worse with Extra Large fonts.
