Maybe this is a limitation of Windows, but printing a sample from the Font Test window will print only ASCII characters in the current font. All other characters are printed using a system font.

Re: Font Test Print Supports only ASCII
This is even worse in FontCreator 7.
The Font Test Window doesn't use the temporary font at all for printing, just a generic Serif or Sans Serif font.
This is not something I have ever really needed to use — I would normally print font samples from PagePlus then I have much more control over the layout — but I think the print function should be removed if its not worth the effort of fixing to print using the test font.
Printing a single glyph from the Glyph Edit window is less useful than taking a screen shot, and printing that.

Re: Font Test Print Supports only ASCII
I've run another test here, and at first the print failed big time. It showed PCL XL error InsufficientMemory as output.
Both times I printed to a HP LaserJet.
I also printed as PDF through PDF995 printer driver, and both times that worked just fine.
Then I disabled auto hinting and printed again through the Font Test dialog. This time it worked like a charm.
