From the Font menu, open the OpenType Designer. There are no OpenType features of any kind in your font.

When I run Autokern it generates a Kerning feature with pair adjustment lookups, opening the OpenType Designer dialogue when completed to show the new feature.

I have no idea whether it's still applicable, but this old post on the USCutter Forum describes a way of setting type in Gerber Omega without converting the font from TTF to GSF.

Thanks for the reply, you were right on that I had no kerning, thought I had used auto Kern on this font, but didn't, I will Auto/ Manual Kern the font and Upload again when fixed.

Contacted Gerber Omega 5.0 program by e-mail , got a response to my problem of not being able to install into the Omega 5.0 Program.
Solution was that when I create a font make sure when saved as a TTF font that:
1 Rename the font to something without punctuation in it's name.
2 Renaming to a shorter name.

After I had done those suggestion the font now installs into the program.
:D :) :D :) :D :)

Ah, a happy ending. Thanks for the update.

It boggles me that any company would adhere to legacy file naming in 2015 for reading fonts (much less anything else).

If I'm correct they are talking about the font name, not the file name.

And yes, it is good news that the problem is now solved!
