Hi Font Experts,

i want to change some Base ANSI Characters in the range 30-128 in the MS Mincho to see better readable western typo in Word.
So i opened the MS Mincho tt collection an 2 fonts were extracted:
MS Mincho
MS PMincho

The fonts seams to be identical. Do i need this MS PMincho on a english/german Windows7 installed System?

thanks for help

Rainer

The P version is for vertical writing if I remember correctly.

The font license doesn't permit editing.

I believe the 'P' version has proportional Latin characters (instead of monospace). Vertical writing uses the '@' version.
