Extra fi and fl ligs?

Post by Psymon »

Along with other "standard" ligatures, there's the "fi" and "fl" ligs that are in the Alphabetic Presentation Forms area -- but then there's duplicates of these in the PUA (at least, if you autocomplete them), namely at uniF001 and uniF002.

What's the purpose of those two redundant ligs? Is there any reason to keep them in there, duplicated in my PUA?

The duplicates in the PUA are the redundant or legacy glyphs.

So I guess I can just delete them, without any worries that some users out there might run into issues of some sort?
