Fonts for neon signs

Fonts for neon signs
I am a beginner level designer and want to design neon sign for first time.I took example of these neon signs from neon sign NYC.I found an amazing font for neon sign but can't decide the actual thickness for the fonts to built perfect sized neon sign.Any suggestions?

You should probably use an even stroke width. My Mandala font illustrated below has a vertical stroke width of 192 funits for Capitals and 174 funits for lowercase. The units per em are 2048.

One further constraint if you are doing 'real' neon signs (i.e. glass tubes filled with noble gasses with a flourescent substance coating the inside) is that one stroke cannot split in two like at the top of the 'T' and the junction of the 'Y' it has to be two strokes, there can only be one path from anode to cathode and the current will take the shortest path.

Use Denver Broncos Custom. I think it can be good for neon signs.
