I have found several freeware fonts that i like. Unfortunately they only have a seven bit ascii glyph sets.
I miss the national glyphs like åäö'eü and so on.
Is it possible to create an automated feature that could take the letter a an combine it with ¨ and create an ä and so on and try to build up as much as possible of an eight bit ansi glyph set?
Another nice feature would be if you could select an ansi font that is similar and copy the missing glyphs from that font into my extended font. I have tried to manually extend a few fonts but it is tedious work so if I could get some automation to help me along I would appreciate it.

In the Font Creator manual do a search for 'Complete Composites' and read that section.

I moved your topics to the correct forum. They are not feature requests.
Also look at the topics on Glyph Transformer (feature not available in the Home Edition) • Insert Characters • Insert Glyphs.
