How to move selection by 1 unit with the keyboard?

How to move selection by 1 unit with the keyboard?

Now I only do it on Movement panel by mouse, would I do it by keyboard (eg. left arrow key) ?

Use the Ctrl key modifier + cursor keys left/right up/down.

The shortcuts do not seem to be documented in Help Contours.

Move selected contours
To constrain a selection so that it moves only horizontally or vertically, press Shift as you drag the selection. Press Alt to ignore the snap to grid and snap to guidelines features.

Add
Press Ctrl + cursor key to move it by one unit; press Shift + cursor key to move it by 100 units; press the cursor keys to move it by 10 units.

Thanks for the information on how to use this opreation correctly, it's what I needed.
