Since the installation of MainType (12.0.0.1293) the creation of PDF files via Acrobat Distiller has become extremely slow. Does anyone else have this problem or has the problem already been solved?

MainType should not affect other software, so I don't think your issue is related to our font manager.
How many fonts do you have installed on your system? It might slow things down if you have thousands of installed fonts.
Does it slow down with every PDF or just one with specific fonts? Some fonts can be very complex, but it is also possible you use a corrupt font, but it is hard to say from here.

In the System are 18.000 Fonts.
Active in MainType are max. 100

Then it might be a specific font that is used in the document.
