I have a font containing two sizes of marks, large and small.
In InDesign it works great. My problem is Ward.
In order for Word to recognize that it is a Mark glyph, it is not enough to set the OT Class as Mark, but two more things are needed: 1. Set to a Unicode glyph that is identified with Mark. 2. And that the Unicode be in Hebrew, because if not, Word does not place the mark in its position on the glyph.
Now my problem is that there aren't enough unicodes in Hebrew, because I need everything there is, and double them too.
What can we do?
I am attaching a picture of the good glyphs (they have a circle around them)
For curiosity - I wrote "glyphs". The marks are just an example.
and a picture of the bad glyphs (without the circle)
And that's how it is in Font Creator (looks good), pay attention to Unicode.

Re: Special mark glyphs for Microsoft Word and more
I suspect it is a limitation of Word which will be solved as soon as they release an update with better OpenType support.
