[CLOSED] Validate fill some characters' hole
I have made a validation to make my ring diactric center unfilled. The process do the job but some character's holes filled unexpectedly.

Re: Validate fill some characters' hole
Can you please upload a sample project with the specific glyph, so we can look into it?

I have sent a project file with three character privately. If you select all and validate it will fill the holes but it shouldn't have to.

Thank you for sending the file.
It seems FontCreator has issues with this specific corner, as the direction is wrong. So you need to manually change the contour direction.

I don't understand if I can fix this manually in your software why it can't do this automatically?

It is easy to determine the contour direction for basic shapes, but it can become rather complex with complex contours.LisanAlGaib wrote: ↑Fri Dec 15, 2023 7:45 am I don't understand if I can fix this manually in your software why it can't do this automatically?
Each time we make improvements to the algorithm, new issues pop up.
Anyway, we will try to further improve the way we calculate the direction.
