Ligatures Transparent Overlapping

Hi! I have created a script font and as I am testing it in Photoshop I see that the overlapping, like ligatures and other strokes coming one over another, generate a transparent area. Does anyone know why and how can I fix this? You can see an attachment here. Thank you!

I suspect some contours have the wrong direction.

For TrueType based outlines, thus with quadratic bezier curves, the outer contour should be clockwise and the inner contour counter-clockwise.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Unfortunately, what you are noting doesn't sound very familiar to me. Could you indicate an article or a tutorial to fix this? I am not sure what I did wrong - all the letters were imported from Illustrator, just like I did with the other fonts, where this issue did not arise.

FontCreator can detect contours with a wrong direction. Click the Correct contour directions button on the Validation panel to correct the direction of all misoriented contours or select Direction from the Edit menu to change the direction of the selected contour(s).

The question is, “Why does Scanahand produce contours with incorrect direction?”
One should not need to install another software package to fix bugs in Scanahand.

Actually the topic should have been posted in the FontCreator forums, as the only license I see is a FontCreator one. I will move the topic from Scanahand support to the correct forum.
