Verajja Update
This set of four Sans Serif type styles includes a full range of characters for Latin scripts, geometric shapes and symbols. The uppercase composite glyphs like  use low profile accents, as do the Small Capitals and Petite Capitals. Default leading for 10 point text is 13 points.

Re: Verajja Update
Is this problem still there or have you been able to overcome this problem with a more recent version of PDF Factory or another virtual printer driver that generates PDF documents?Bhikkhu Pesala wrote:¹ Some characters repeat, apparently due to a bug in PDF Factory. The printout to my laser printer is fine so I doubt if it is a problem with MainType.

Re: Verajja Update
The problem is still there even with 1 Gbytes of RAM on Windows XP. The linked PDF is about the best I can manage. Current results are worse. Restarting the print job after every page makes no difference.Erwin Denissen wrote:Is this problem still there or have you been able to overcome this problem with a more recent version of PDF Factory or another virtual printer driver that generates PDF documents?
I am using vesion 1.65 of PDF Factory.

Re: Verajja Update
Verajja 3.40 completed the Latin Extended Additional, Number Forms, Currency, and Dingbat character sets for Unicode 8.0. The archive now includes cut-down versions designed for Web use. The font names are the same, but the filenames are different, e.g. Verajja Regular Web.otf and Verajja Regular.woff. The web versions have 1,378 glyphs including Petite Capitals, but fewer symbols.

Re: Verajja Update
Version 3.52 fixes lots more bugs. It's amazing what gets overlooked as you can see from this long list. I used the Glyph Overview side panel to select character sets, and the Preview Toolbar to compare font styles using Ctrl + Tab.
- The Turkish Lira currency symbol was just a copy of the Italian Lira. I either never got around to designing it, or overwrote it with Complete Composites
- The Georgian Lari currency symbol was improved a bit.
- Spacing of super/subscripts for a-z was too loose for Verajja Regular
- Spacing of super/subscripts for A-Z was too loose for Verajja Bold
- Kerning pairs for L + superscripts was missing in several styles
- The wrong accents were used on many glyphs for pcap and smcp
- Letter-like double-struck capitals were improved.
- Greek Phi for bold and bold italic were too black
- Aspect ratio of estimated symbol was not square and it was less than CapHeight
- Fax and Tel symbols were inconsistent
- a/o, a/s, c/o, and a/u did not all use composites, and so were inconsistent weights
- Some number forms were incorrectly spaced
- Some maths operators were not on the baseline, and not the full CapHeight
- Misc Tech, Perspective was not the full CapHeight
- Enclosed alphanumerics were inconsistent sizes
- Misc Symbols now have one more Easter-egg
- Some Petite Caps did not match the x-height
- One Germandbls Petite Caps was CapHeight instead of x-height
- Some accents were incorrectly positioned for superscripts for ordinals
- By using more composites, e.g. for Greek Small and Petite Capitals, the file sizes were reduced.

A shocking number of mistakes, more like! However, the amazing improvements in FontCreator do make it easier to spot them.Erwin Denissen wrote:That is an amazing amount of improvements. Well done!
