Thank you for mentioning our software in your post at Quora. I really enjoyed reading the whole story, including the first part where you explain how you first got to know typesetting.

I also noticed that the name 'High-Logic' lost its hyphen in that article (as in Charles' OP here). It was still interesting to read, though!
I was particularly interested in this bit:

Or maybe that's wrong. Maybe the sorts were backward, the slug forward and then there was another step done over at the printing plant to impress a rubber blanket that was mounted on the press drum.
I have a Linotype slug with my name on it, so I can confirm that the description in the first paragraph isn't wrong (as suggested in the second paragraph). The letters on the slug are indeed backwards.
