How to switch hand to zoom

On editor mode of glyph how to switch fast from hand to zoom mode? Only way is click on icon? This is very frustrating...
- Hold down the spacebar to pan freely by dragging the mouse cursor
- Roll the mousewheel to scroll up/down
- Hold shift and roll the mousewheel to pan left/right
- Hold control and roll the mousewheel to zoom in/out. (or use plus minus keys)
