I am using FontCreator 8.
I have two contours, a large circle clockwise and a smaller circle counterclockwise inside it, so as to produce a wide black ring glyph.
I am trying to produce a 90 degree part of such a ring, so as to smoothly join a vertical wide black line to horizontal wide black line by a smooth rounded corner.
So I need to join the two contours together and delete some points to get the required shape in one contour.
How do I do this please?
I have been trying for a while and I have looked in the manual, but I cannot work out how to do it.
William

Re: Joining two concentric circle contours
Even on old versions of FontCreator, this was quite easy using the knife tool.
Switch to points mode, zoom in close to where you want to cut the ring, and hold down the shift key while using the knife to constrain it to horizontal or vertical cuts.
However, if you want to create a smooth bracket, there are easier ways. See the Tutorial thread on Tip of the Day — Making a Smooth Bracket.
