Thank you for your input. My handwriting is lousy as well! :) I completely agree; not good for italic. This would be for print or doodles. In my mind, I already have something churning for italic / calligraphy-like submissions. Although my calligraphy skills are poor (newbie), I have noticed on prac...

Handwriting Font Sheets

Hi, I am not sure if this is the right category thread, but I am redoing my sheets that I give people to make handwriting fonts. Would anyone like to test them out for ease of use? Keep in mind, I would normally be the one printing them. I print on my printer's " BEST " setting in " COLOR ", you may...

Lucida Handwriting is a PERFECT font. I do fonts for people who submit their handwriting and samples. I also do "artsy" handwriting fonts; none of these are PERFECT like Lucida Handwriting. I am very interested in pleasing my client or myself. The comparison window is nice and shows kerning you've d...

Okay, Thanks. I deleted that.

It would still be nice to know anyone's experiences. :)

Here's a sample picture of Paint Shop Pro & Photoshop CS.

Programs that accept kerned fonts ... and those that do not

I would be interested in knowing ~~MORE~~ programs that do and do not support kerned fonts. I use XP Pro and my experience is: YES * accepts kerned fonts I made with FC5 : * Adobe Photoshop CS (v.8.) NO - does not accept kerned fonts I made with FC5 - Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7, 8, & 9. (note: I can adju...

Now, where was that diagram ...

A diagram of a font character/glyph was submitted by another FC user on this forum. It had ~~ALL~~ the lines named. I should have bookmarked that thread. Can anyone point  me in the right direction? Thank you! :)

Thanks, I bought the full version brand new & factory sealed (& cheaper) on eBay last year. I registered it asap. It's awesome for organizing all my fonts that I purchased over the years and the few I have made all by myself. I love it - and I love your program as well (I just need to practice more)...

Sizing Ratios / Proper Proportions

Is it me or did I miss something? My Problem ***** In HLFC4 I was able to enlarge or decrease an entire glyph/charachter at an exact ratio height to width. In HLFC5, when I try to do the same task, I seem to be all over the place distorting (ex: squishing & squashing) instead of porperly sizing in c...

Some FC5 fonts will not install via Suitcase 9.2 (PC/WIN)

Hi - I am a new user - I hope I am posting in the correct forum. I have created a few fonts with HLFC5. Some of those fonts WILL install via Extensis Suitcase 9.2 and some will NOT. They WILL all install via the normal MS Windows fonts folder, but I'm an organizing fanatic. Is there a step I am miss...
