Re: History like in Photoshop
Undo lists the currently available undo one step back. Much different than history. I agree with you. I would be happy just for an actual Revert...but a history panel where all actions are listed wouldn't be a bad addition. Why is it a bad addition?! There is no history panel in FontCreator that is...

Guidelines like in Photoshop
Hello, developers of FontCreator, I would like that FontCreator has guidelines like in Photoshop. At this time, if outlines are solid filled then guidelines are not visible in the place where they cross a shape of a glyph; therefore, I have to fill outlines with n% opacity that I can see guidelines ...

Re: Cyrillic characters
I just noticed that, for the Italic, you made the small letter Zhe like composite of the inverted and normal small letter Ka, but that shape is more typically for the Sans Serif Italic fonts, although there are quite a number of the Serif fonts with that shape, for example the Palatino Linotype. Ye...

Re: Cyrillic characters
These letters are good as before. Re: Grave and acute on the different levels
I did it! For everybody who is interested in it. As it turned out, the Latin subscrypt must contain the MarkToBase Items of all the other Code Pages. My script should have begun like this: script cyrl { feature MarkPositioning2; } script latn { feature MarkPositioning1; } class @M2B_B_1 [uni0410 uni...

Re: Cyrillic characters
I am Russian and know about the specifics of the Cyrillic letters. I think that your Cyrillic letters for that font are quite normal, and I did not find any character mistakes, although I could judge by only the letters of the Russian alphabet, but it has 33 letters. You could look at font “Times Ne...

Re: Grave and acute on the different levels
Bhikkhu Pesala , thank you for your replies! I studied “Times New Roman” and found that it did not have the composites with the acute for my Russian Cyrillic letters, but it has some mark and base anchors for that glyphs and has some respective scripts in the OpenType Layout Features. Besides, the ...

Re: Grave and acute on the different levels
I am sorry. Maybe I have should placed this topic in “Type Design.” I did not notice before.
But that is more difficult during creating a font and typing some text in MS Word, and that increases a file size of a font.

Grave and acute on the different levels
Hi, everybody! I am creating my font and would like to make combining grave and acute accent on the different levels for uppercase and lowercase letters how that is made in the known fonts like “Times New Roman.” For example, if I type some text in MS Word using “Times New Roman” and enter “Alt + 07...

Re: FontCreator 11 does not save the options of grid, guidelines and metrics
You talk to me about using the projects again and again, but I do not understand anyway why that feature cannot be optional?! It could be “on” or could be “off”—what is the problem in that?! I am confused…

Re: FontCreator 11 does not save the options of grid, guidelines and metrics
I understand what you said about the projects, but that feature does not like me very much! For example, I do not use the grid in general, and now I have to turn it off for any new project. That annoys me very much! Cannot that feature be optional?! That feature could remain turn on for who likes it...

FontCreator 11 does not save the options of grid, guidelines and metrics
Hello, developers of FontCreator, I have been using FontCreator 6.5 for a long time. Now I decided to try version 11 and found a very unpleasant thing in it: the program did not save the options of grid, guidelines and metrics. FontCreator 6.5 always saves that options, it records them in the Regist...
