i am new to font creator and i am having an issues when i type fi together it changes to a different character and i don't know what. Then when I type fl together is disappears altogether. Please Help

Thank You! Since I am new to Fontcreator I would have never thought of moving the side bearings. I thought they have to stay where they were.

I have created a script font, however I cannot get the font to attach together. I would like each letter to be together to make it appear as it was written in one motion. I am new to Font Creator and was wondering how can I go about attaching the letters together.
