Re: With 6.1, Preview text not saved.

Did you mean to post in this thread, Erwin? Because, while this particular problem was not solved with this update, the Validation Text export problem seems to have been fixed.

Preview text continues to revert to the default, "<enter preview text here>".

[FIXED] With 6.1, Preview text not saved.

The subject pretty much says it, but I noticed last night that a custom string of text entered in the previewer is not retained when the program is closed since installing FC 6.1.

Re: FC 6.1 broke Validation saved Text?

Your attached validation file still looks a whole lot better than what I'm getting, Bhikkhu.

[FIXED] FC 6.1 broke Validation saved Text?

Before, if I asked for a saved Font Vaidation report file, that file would have perfectly ordered pairs of x/y coordinates running down the left margin of my text file. Tonight, I used one of those files (made pre 6.1) to fix a few problems in a grunge font I'm trying to clean up. After awhile, I ra...

Re: FontCreator 6.1...

I love the tabs. Much nicer for pulling those smaller edit windows from behind overviews.

Thanks again,

Mike

Re: FontCreator 6.1...

I've actually been weaning myself off of IE8 by using Google Chrome (at first too simplistic, but it keeps revealing time-saving shortcuts. I like it.) The new Reg code arrived. So you can rest assured that your page now works with Chrome at least. Thanks, Erwin.

Re: FontCreator 6.1...

The new improvements sound wonderful and I thank you and León for them in advance, Erwin. The trouble is, I click on the link in the e-mail and arrive at a High-Logic page with a button that says, "Send new registration code and download FontCreator 6.1." I click the button, it becomes gra...

Fonts naming, settings & flags.

At the following URL is a very nice frreebie font family: http://inde-graphics.deviantart.com/art/advent-font-57338302 The usage guidelines are toward the bottom of the page. They disallow the opening and alteration of the font(s) in an editor - so I'm going to have to talk theoretically here. The f...

Font for Mac OSX

I'm in the midst of digitizing in FCP 5.0 an old Art Nouveau typeface. I wish to share this with a Mac user using OS X 10.3.9. My understanding is that OS X users can use Win TT fonts just fine. Several online resources confirm this and I've forwarded to her the directions for properly installing th...

Hey, thanks for that tip Bhikkhu. I wasn't aware that you could single-click a 2nd time and rotate/skew! dolphin7: Alternatively, if you want a precise amount of rotation, you can single click the glyph and use the rotation tab on the Transform Toolbar (if it's not visible, enable it via View/Toolba...
