I've been messing with the Fixed width and Fixed height settings for the Automatic Metrics wizard. I am trying to convert an raster old font to look good as a TTF font. I need each character cell to be exactly 16 pixels wide and 32 characters tall but I cannot seem to figure out the correct settings...

That was surprisingly easy. Saved me from having to start completely over on this font.

I am not sure how I did it, but I accidentally overrode the "6" and "-" in my font file. I was able to fix it by bringing in the bitmaps and adding them back in as characters, correcting the code point value in the process. However I cannot figure how to move them up in the list ...

I understand that but isn't a font I create mine to give away if I choose too? I'm not responsible for what others do. I personally wouldn't care if my freeware font was used commercially since I gave it away with no strings attached. I'm not sure how you expect to enforce a license agreement to peo...

Help me understand why this necessary? I mean I planned on upgrading at some point but it seems a little shrewish in nature to advertise your program for free in font files people create.

If I upgrade can I remove the license description?

How do I remove the license description? It is advertising the Home edition of Font Creator. I want the file details to only contain the Author and the terms of use listed as "Freeware".

Use a firewall program such as Tinywall or the built in Windows firewall to block the program from having internet access. Then it should go will go away. Paid programs shouldn't bug you like this.

A mono-spaced font should work within the command console. However this program seems to be invalidating fonts. How does the font program calculate the width? For example if I advanced the width to 3000 and my font size (height) is 32 what would be the actual width in pixels?
