Re: Library count: when is it updated?

Good morning Erwin, thanks for the reply. OK "vault" and "database", all this is fine. But what is the purpose of those tick boxes then? 24-12-_2021_10-19-30.jpg I would expect a predefined view which shows everything that is physically available in my defined font folders. At al...

Re: Library count: when is it updated?

Re: Library count: when is it updated?

So it should also be updated if I remove a synced folder?

Library count: when is it updated?

can someone please explain what triggers the library count to be updated?
Can I force this? If so, by doing what?
Thanks for shedding some light on this for me.

Re: Comparing fonts

OK. Not enough users did request this feature... Sad but true. The "printing option" was mentioned here before as well. And as "hlff" mentioned I also think there should be an inline solution for this. This would improve the workability of the software tremendously. Being able to...

Re: Comparing fonts

Some other font managers have a mode where the preview text is basically the only thing displayed in the list of fonts, and you can then have multiple columns displayed: FontDisplayExample.jpg If you did that to the preview window, you could have something like the following (with just one column):...

Re: View two font text samples at the same time?

Good morning Bhikkhu, thanks for pointing me to this thread, which I did not find right away. You are right, using tags can be a solution. But I am feeling more in the direction of those other forum members asking for a dedicated solution to compare fonts. I do find the sample panel really helpful. ...

View two font text samples at the same time?

Good evening,
I have just started working with MainType and I am wondering if there is a way to display the same text sample with two different fonts at the same time?

In order to single out alternatives or to find good matches.

Best,
Wolfgang
