Wow, what a difference! No, I did not have font smoothing, now I do, and there is a heck of a difference! It's just that I created a font that is similar to for instance Garamond. Changing bottom bearing

Hi, I've got a problem:

I've created a character 'g', but the bottom of my 'g' falls of!

Now, most likely this is because the bottom bearing is too high. Question is: How to get it lower? If I open other font files, they already have a low bottom line.
