Short Downtime due to Drive Failure
We had a short downtime (less than half an hour) due to a drive failure. Nothing is lost (we have a mirror drive in Raid), but it had to be replaced. All is now back to normal.

Re: License for MainType 10 in 32bit?
MainType runs on Windows 10, 8, and 7 and we offer both a 32-bit and a 64-bit version.
If you are the only person who uses the software, then you only need one license.
We offer upgrades for existing customers.

Windows has evolved over the years and your version of FontCreator does not support user based font installations.

Re: How to convert standard font to single line font
Hello All, We ended up creating a single line font. Everything looks correct in the font project. However, when we export/insta;ll and use the font, the letters do not show up correctly. singleline.png The shin-hebr outline looks more like an export with Open Contours option set to Single Stroke. Re: Maintype 5.1.2.701 on win10
That version is 8 years old, so no wonder it has compatibility issues. Still nice to know you have been able to install it on Windows 10. More recent versions of Windows introduced per user font installations and variable fonts. Both are not supported in older versions of MainType. Besides this, a l...

Re: Unable to open the Opentype Designer due to "argument out of range"
It works just fine here.
Maybe you have a specific preview text that is causing the issue. Can you open the OpenType Designer with another font, and then change the preview text. Then try to open this font?
