Yes, this is something that would help. We'll probably include this in the next upcoming release.

Re: How can a font collector identify supported OpenType features?

This would indeed be a feature that suits MainType. I've been thinking about adding some support like the OpenType Preview feature as available in FontCreator, but that is per font.

Re: Kerning not recognizing all subtables

If a specific pair is not included in the pair list, it will still be stored in the pair positioning lookup. In most cases this ...

Re: New Character

They will work, just copy and paste this line of text:



You can also use the Insert Symbol feature within Word to add characters.

Personally I don't recommend using the private use area, as such "characters" are not equal for all fonts.

Do send us the font project along with a Word document. Also let us know which version of Microsoft Word you use. We will then look into this issue.

Re: Site malfunction?

I think the server doesn't allow us to send mass mailings. Fortunately most frequent visitors will not give up. The cache issue will solve by itself, but I'm not sure how long a web browser caches css files.

Re: Site malfunction?

But to be serious, yes this is indeed an issue.

We upgraded the forum, and only after that noticed this behaviour. We've just send an email to all users; I'm not sure if that worked, so let me know if you received an email.
