If so, then you should see all outlines unless your font misses some of the "base" glyphs (e.g. Latin Capital Letter I, V, and X). If these are the only Number Forms, the...

Re: Generate Font

FontCreator adds it if the font is exported with OpenType layout features, as some word processing software (Microsoft Word) requires it.

Maybe you can do without the OpenType features. Why do you want to exclude DSIG?

Re: (Arabic) Mark And Ligatures

Concerning your first issue, do go to the ligature lookup and ensure Process Marks and Mark Filtering Set are both set to None.

I will contact someone who knows all about Arabic and ask him to look into this.

Re: underscores

FontCreator handles these errors with no problem, and if you export a font without glyph names (the default in FontCreator), there should be no issues. FontCreator is very flexible and allows you to user friendly names for glyphs. As soon as your font is ready for production, you can either choose ...

Re: Math Type

Did you insert a glyph (which can’t be used directly) or did you insert a character (which has a code point that can be accessed in word processing software)?

Re: Add a preview renderer like the one in MainType and the "Test OTF" window

It only uses a different algorithm for drawing overlapping contours.

This is the only setting available.

You could try to change the glyph outline fill mode:

Re: Add a preview renderer like the one in MainType and the "Test OTF" window

MainType uses Windows to rasterize the font, so to use it we have to export and install the font which is exactly what Test TTF/OTF does.

Re: 2 questions about Open Contours

The width can't be changed right now.

To achieve a union of two overlapping circles, it is easiest to make such circles in a normal font (with help of the union feature), and then copy and paste them into the single stroke font.

It seems like iOS is buggy in the sense that is incorrectly rejects valid fonts. Do let us know if you get an update from Apple.

Re: Change Font Name

Exactly what Paul said:

The font name is stored inside the font, so changing the file name won't work. To change the font name, go to Font Properties dialog. From there select the Identification tab, which allows you to change the font name. Then export the font.
