Re: Export single glyph?
No, but you can copy and paste from FontCreator to most vector editing software, and then save as SVG from there.

Re: feature request: "Select Duplicates" feature in a folder view
The current implementation is not suitable to identify fonts in a single folder that are considered duplicates within your whole font library. It will not be easy to make it work per folder, so right now we have no intention to add such support. Maybe that changes if more people find this a useful e...

Re: Some issues regarding my font
And also, I showed the picture of my fonts metrics earlier, it's fine to have the Typo Ascender the same as the Win Ascent? And the same for Typo Descender and Win Descent? That is possible. To better understand the meaning of these values, I suggest you read this tutorial: Font Metrics – Vertical ...

Re: Some issues regarding my font
And for added difficulty, the HTML command writing-mode: vertical-rl and vertical-lr seems to only rotate text 90 degrees clockwise, which is fine for Mongolian where its letters are "upside-down" by default, but my letters are "right-side up" so when I use that command it doesn...

Re: Some issues regarding my font
I am intending to make a cursive, vertical, LTR conscript font. I should note that all of my glyphs are set to the Private Use area (E000 and beyond). Shaping engines rely on Unicode data. It allows text segmentation and it provides other data which is used to determine what OpenType layout feature...

Re: Some ligatures failing in .woff in Chrome and Edge
I am not sure why it fails with FC13, but the font generated by FC14 works just fine. See this web page:

We intend to release this new major version at the end of May and will invite people for beta testing in a couple of weeks.

No, as MainType is mainly a font manager, not a font viewer. The whole architecture is build around the idea to manage fonts.

Re: feature request: File Path column in main fonts view
Perhaps in the situation where an identical font exists in multiple folders, the proposed column would show: "Font exists in multiple paths. Click here to view list." Since more people have requested this, we will consider it. If the user clicked, a list would pop up showing the various l...

Re: limit Library to fonts in system folder and actively attached folders
You could temporary add a Tag to all fonts you want to keep. This will only work if you use sync folders. So in your case select Active Fonts, then select all and give them the Tag "KeepMe". Now do the same for all the root folders in the Groups panel. Now in the Tag Search panel, select T...

You can also use the Ignore feature from the Edit menu. This way the font will be hidden from your library.

Re: Two ligature errors
I'm still completely stumped on the upbow mark. I cannot get it to display correctly in Word or Dorico. Other users have confirmed that it does not work for them in Word or Dorico. It does work in Word, I am using the latest version. It is hard to understand the issue; maybe Word automatically capi...
