Re: Template Editor help
Thanks very much for clearing this up. Makes sense to me now. I was getting along by trial and error but its better to understand. With that in mind, please help me make the connection between the size of the cell in ScanaHand and the size of the resulting glyph in the font. If I open the font in Fo...

Re: Template Editor help
Thanks for the help. I'll stick to at least 2 columns & the proportions mentioned. That should allow for a good sized cell. Erwin, Please post a tutorial or article about how to use the cell ratios in the advanced editor. In page ratio for example, if I make the second number down smaller, the h...

Re: Template Editor help
I attached the template & font below. The 1x7 font is uniformly cropped on the right side. FWIW, I think the signature cells and all the other cells too in the standard templates are way too small. When people try to compress their signature or lettering while writing, its not natural and they a...

Template Editor help
Hi, I've been trying to make some templates with oversized cells for use on Signatures and Dingbats. I'm finding that the template editor allows me to make a template with cells that are horizontally much wider than what ScanaHand will vectorize into a glyph. Heres an example XML for a 1x7 Template ...

Bhikkhu, Thanks very much for your effort. This exactly answers my question and I'm going to go ahead and buy the product.
The image of children praying makes a beautiful dingbat. Really nice design and detail.

Re: Scanahand edits in Font Creator
Thanks for the reply. Looks like the program doesn't care about the logo.. The demo is crippled for looking into the template question as it will only process the first two templates and rejects any others including ones you generate with the editor. What I'd like to do (I think) is make a template ...

Scanahand edits in Font Creator
Hi, I'm thinking of getting Scanahand so I can offer an inexpensive handwriting font service to users of my font site (http://interactimage.com) First question is if any problem will be caused by changing the High-Logic logo on the template to my own logo. Next I was wondering what happens if a user...

I have a non-commercial website set up for generating font images. Its at http://interactimage.com There is a category there for handwriting fonts. You can do a lot of manipulation of the image there. There is also an ImageMagick interface. If people send me their handwriting fonts, I'll place them ...
