Install a font on printer, PCL5?

One of our client asks for a PCL version of our font. What is PCL? I found a menu item on Format menu PCL5, how can I provide PCL version of our truetype font to this customer? For example, we have a font file named abc.ttf, which is created by font creator program. What to do now?

According to the Erwin's thread: pointSize * resolution / ( 72 points per inch * units_per_em ) and 550 * 18 * 72 / ( 72 * 2048 ) = 4.83 Can you explain the meaning of the each items: 1.)18 is the font size using in windows program, e.g. Word or notepad, right...

The requirement is when the font size is 12, the print size of a glyph (a black rectangle) is 1 millimeter width and 2 millimeter height.
