Re: "Matches" Challenge

I've never seen curved matches ! They might be a little awkward to use  Steam wood and you can bend it any way you want. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/3d/99/20/3d99205d5fc729c413af6b3ea2f23e44.jpg https://i.pinimg.com/564x/05/13/b1/0513b1a20490f4685e478a24a798f8f8.jpg https://i.pinimg.com/564...

"Matches" Challenge

I thought about creating a new "Matchstick" font, took a look at what was already out there, and was not impressed. I started my own, but at 83 my hands are too shaky. Here are my beginnings, the challenge is to finish the font. https://i.pinimg.com/564x/0d/f1/49/0df149c2e3db7040a3e7955c328a1ff9.jpg...

Re: Site malfunction?

I used "Photobucket" to post some images here and elsewhere. THEY have changed their policy and are replacing images with https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/a1/57/1b/a1571b4df75ce53e06d27bfd853496f1.jpg until (it will NEVER HAPPEN FROM ME!) we pay them $400/year. I am replacing all my images ...

As long as a font does what YOU want it to and YOU are happy with it - IT IS PERFECT.

Re: Ancient Gothic

Who is the greater expert on Gothic script, the Unicode committee or a scribe from the fifth century writing in his native language? The Unicode committee without a doubt. They have the benefit of hindsight and can look at manuscripts from different regions produced over many centuries. However, wh...

Re: Verajja Update

That is an amazing amount of improvements. Well done! A shocking number of mistakes, more like! However, the amazing improvements in FontCreator do make it easier to spot them. "How long does it take to make a font?" Perhaps an hour. "How long does it take to make a perfect font?" Forever! Standard...

Re: Comparing fonts
