Re: diacritic stacking: positioning problem

If you copy the CompleteComposites.xml file to the User Data Folder all of the defaults will be used anyway as they exist in the copy. If you want more, just add your own. If you want to change any, then edit the copy. If you want to disable any, just delete them. Keep a backup of your user data fil...

It runs fine on Windows 10. If you have 64-bit Windows, download the 64-bit version. Otherwise, there is a 32-bit version.

Re: diacritic stacking: positioning problem

IIRC = If I recall correctly. All code syntax words are case-sensitive, e.g. <Pos>Auto</pos> will produce a syntax error, e.g. This page contains the following errors: error on line 568 at column 18: Opening and ending tag mismatch: Pos line 0 and pos Below is a rendering of the page up to the first...

They are the decimal code-points of the defined glyphs. See the Complete Composites Tutorial Thank you. Having read the tutorial and the pdf, and after looking at CompositeData.xml, I still have some questions, if I may: 1. Can <InheritSB> with Boolean value be placed inside the <Member> tag? 2. Wh...

They are the decimal code-points of the defined glyphs. See the Complete Composites Tutorial

I haven't seen that one before, but the solution is to move a node or two by a few pixels and try again.

Re: How to export only new characters

I think the best method would be to use the "Include in Export" feature to export a new font containing just the essential glyphs and the new glyphs. Others could open that in their own font editor, then copy/paste the new glyphs to new glyphs in the original font.

Re: Uninstalling fonts from Windows/Fonts : Where do they go?

MainType saves all fonts that it finds in its vault. Make a backup of the vault using FMSConfig to ensure that you can recover from hard disk failure, etc.

Re: Can I set letters height in bulk?

The Glyph Transformer feature (not available in the Home Edition) can adjust the height of selected glyphs all at once. It can perform several actions at the same time as a batch process.
