Re: How to generate composite glyphs in batches?

Your method really works. That's great! You are a real warmhearted person! Thank you very very very much! XML coding is quite powerful, but like all coding requires great care. Just one small typo in CompositeData.xml can break the Complete Composites feature. Keep backups when editing it and read ...

Forgive my ignorance but could you tell me what UPEM is?
upem = Funits per em, usually 2048 for Windows fonts and 1000 for Mac fonts.

Re: How to generate composite glyphs in batches?

Take a look at the Glyph Transformer Wizard. To create the composited glyph uni4E00 in your first post, you could create a script to insert the glyph uni4E00 and complete composites based on HZ0001 and PY1087. Insert Glyph and Compose.png The definition for that would have to be added to the Composi...

Before resizing, try reducing the number of nodes. Right-click, Optimize.

You can see the number of contours and nodes in the status toolbar at the bottom.

Re: What is the meaning of this

Please see Font Properties in Help. Select version 5 as that is the latest version. Calculate the Unicode Ranges.

Font Smoothing improves the font's appearance at small sizes. OTF/TTF only, not CFF.

Re: font name size

After recalculating the font metrics the font name in the selection drop list looks fine. I dropped the _underscore in the font name and replaced the zero with Capital O. Font name in drop list.png Since some of the Arabic glyphs have high Ascent and Descent values, the Cap Height and x-height are a...

Re: secure fonts

I don't see how any practical solution could be found. If a font can be installed for legitimate use, it can be opened in any font editor and modified for illegal resale.

Re: Please Help me solve this positioning..

I am not familiar with how Hindi fonts are designed, but a Standard Ligature glyph substitution should work.

Look at an existing font to see how others do it.

Re: Exporting Fonts

Obviously you added the vowels in a different way when editing the fonts that have no code points.

If you use Insert Characters the code-points will be added. If you use Insert Glyphs by name the code-points will also be added. How did you add the extra glyphs?
